How
much will it cost to hire The Crux?
Pricing depends on a number
of variables including the date, location, playing times and the nature
of the event. For an accurate price,
please contact us and we will be happy to give you a quick and accurate
quote. We make every effort to be
reasonably and competitively priced.
What
do I get when I hire the band?
Well, first and foremost, you get The Crux, a
fully self-contained live band with it's
own sound and lighting equipment. We
would typically play 2 x 45 minute sets, but can be
flexible according to the circumstances of the event. We will soon be able to provide background
music as part of our service, to keep the party in full swing before, between
and after our sets. Please contact us
for a price for including background music within the package - we promise it
will be considerably cheaper than hiring a separate DJ!
What
do I need to provide for the band to perform?
We simply need space (preferably a stage) to
perform on. A reasonable estimate would
be 10ft x 14ft, with access to at least four 13 amp
sockets. For clarity, we need access to
four separate 13 amp sockets, not just one socket with
a multi-way extension lead plugged into it.
The only other thing we ask for is an enthusiastic audience who are
ready to dance the night away…
How
soon do I need to book the band ?
We take bookings as far as one year in
advance, however we also have various dates available throughout the year;
please contact us to check availability.
It would be helpful if you could let us know the type of event you are
planning, and when it is likely to take place.
We aim to offer you the highest quality entertainment at the most
reasonable price, so the more we know, the easier it is to get the price
