The Band

Who We Are

The Crux are a semi-professional five piece indie party rock covers band. The line-up comprises vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar with backing vocals, bass drums. Our solid mix of rocky cover versions is a real crowd pleaser. The band is fully self-contained and comes complete with a high quality sound and lighting system.

What We Do

We play hits spanning forty years. From Hendrix to the Foo Fighters – from The Kinks to the Arctic Monkeys, everything from late 60's classic rock to the latest indie rock hits.

Visit the gallery to see us in action, or visit the listen page to hear some of our live recordings. We play a selection of well known, bouncy, positive, up-tempo rock and pop favourites  songs. The Crux is the band of choice for pub gigs, parties, festivals, weddings and corporate events, especially if you would like to hear something just a little bit harder-edged than your average party covers band. It's hard not to tap your foot, sing along and dance to some of the best rock and pop songs ever written.
